Starbucks in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Starbucks is now in Vietnam.  I won’t lie to you, the first time I visited Vietnam, I could not imagine Starbucks in the streets of Ho Chi Minh. The streets  are changing quickly but I still can’t figure out if it’s for the best.

Coutume Cafe Osaka

Coutume Cafe, the coffee shop which originated in Paris in 2010, has landed in the depth of the Osaka underground city.   It was a nostalgic visit, since I lived in Paris a few years ago, way before the arrival of the first Starbucks or anything ressembling the new Parisian third wave.

By Luc Gougeon Drift Magazine is a new magazine about coffee originating from NYC which I found out about on Sprudge a while ago. I missed a chance to read their first New York issue, but I ordered the second one knowing that it would be about Tokyo. (Drift #2 in my garden)
