Lilo Coffee Roasters friendly little shop is a short walk from Shinsaibashi station and the busy shopping arcade. I visited the shop on while on my way to Kansai airport and I was surprised by the attention to details and the friendliness of the staff.
Don’t let the weathered sign discourage you. The shop is located in a grungier part of Osaka which is breath of fresh air not far from the packed shopping arcade filled with shop ladies screaming at the top of their lungs.
I visited the shop at 11 AM and people were already waiting in line to get in. The shop is really small, but they have a bench outside a nice little folding table.
It’s a tight fit. I could not see the shadow of a coffee roaster. I think their roaster is located on the upper floor. The menu offers both drip single origin coffees and espresso drinks.
The menu next to the cash register details the daily offering of freshly roasted beans.
I really like the flavour profile graph which maps the taste profile of their beans from high acidity to full body.

I opted for a cafe latte.
The cafe latte was good and I will try to go back to try the drip coffee when I have a chance.
